Is it the thrill of a challenge, is it because you know how, are you a do it yourself kind of person? Make sure you are very clear on why you are going to do this project. | It is the first freeze and you didn't know to disconnect your garden hose from the spigot. As the excess water in the line froze it expanded until it cracked the pipe. When this water thawed, it dripped right out of that crack. You didn't notice because you were out of town. When you returned, you had a lovely disaster in the finished room downstairs. This damaged drywall and flooring need to be replaced. Since you will be doing this anyway, wouldn't it be a great time to add a closet in that room? Or maybe that extra bathroom you have always wanted. If so, which improvement makes the most sense?
